I did try telnetting on port 80 this morning and it was to bbc.co.uk aswell! Sadly though it timed out but I'll try with the IP tonight.
I'll try amending the proxies aswell tonight and see what I can do, thanks alot for all the help everyone, figgers crossed I can sort it out tonight
