Re: 300kb to 1Mb upgrades

I still don't know if my opt-out will be applied or not, as others say, maybe just abuse the 1Mbit as much as I need to, and if they aren't prepared to put me on the 512k, then it's gonna be time to get ADSL over the BT line ... and reassess if the family pack is really worth having, over the assortment on freeview.

Mind you, if the 512k is going to be an orderable package at the specified price, no problem - I was getting to the point of being most unimpressed by the 300k speed, or a 3Gb limit at the £17.99 price, compared to various ADSL offerrings.

As for unlimited, I'd say anyone over 50% of theoretical max needs to get a life, or a business tariff.
