1st 512K took 437 ms = 1199744 KB/sec, approx 9886 Kbps, 9.65 Mbps
2nd 512K took 422 ms = 1242389 KB/sec, approx 10237 Kbps, 10 Mbps
3rd 512K took 437 ms = 1199744 KB/sec, approx 9886 Kbps, 9.65 Mbps
4th 512K took 438 ms = 1197005 KB/sec, approx 9576 Kbps, 9.35 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 9896 Kbps, 9.66 Mbps

That is what I get using IE6, have you tried restarting your modem / stb / router / pc?

Mine went on a go slow earlier and that cured it for me...

This is what I got using Firefox -

Overall Average Speed = approx 9445 Kbps, 9.22 Mbps
