I just phoned NTL CS - 0800 052 2000 - option 2 Held 15 mins

Ok..let me just check your accout...Right to receive the 10MB you'll need a cable modem as the STB won't handle it, i'll just check when the next available appointment is for you......that'll be next Tuesday Mr ***** in the afternoon between 12-6pm.

I really don't know what to make of it? I've read all over the site £50 fees, but I asked twice and definitely won't cost me anything.

Btw, this woman wasn't scottish like the last 300 calls have been, maybe scotland diverted my call.
