good point bout the access being remote. U set the Qos from within windows or the config page of the router? So do u pay for line rental at all? The phones u have hooked up to are DECT? Those i have are plus combined digital ans machine. how about line quality, strength both to land and mobile? Do u know if distance from the exchange or size of bandwidth affect it in any way?

I not pay for any line rental as at moment i only plan to use it to ring other Ip phone users
with my Sipgage and Voiphone accounts i was given a standard phone number as well so peeps on normal phone lines can ring me on it as well
with Sipgate ive got a number with the same local Dial code that im in
Ive not Played with the QOS yet but if i do it will be the QOS in the router setting that i play with and not the PC
