You plug a spare port of your WRT56G into the WAN/Internet port of your VOIP device. It does the rest?
I have a vonage linksys device, the only other thing I had to do was enable remote management (as I am accessing it from my WRT and it is hooked into the WAN port (so effectivly remote). Once that was done off it went.
Also set up QoS to prioritse any traffic from that port.
