I rang tech support in india and told them and was it because of hte Ambit120 modem and the guy goes away and comes back and says "the service is 3mb upto 10mb and whether you get 10mbit is dependant on your distance from the exchange." Anyone else been palmed off with this one yet?
I am wondering whether to request a NTL250 modem or wait a couple weeks to see if it calms down.
