A friend of mine has just been told by tech support that he needs to install an english version of windows XP (he currently has a polish version installed) in order to connect his cable modem. At the moment i believe he is trying to connect via USB so I think this could be the issue.
If he can connect via ethernet would this solve the issue ????
I can't see how having a polish edition of windows XP can cause such a problem, but maybe i'm wrong
Has he been fobbed off or not ???
