Well. I didnt bombard NTL CS,
Just made my third call, and thanks to the helpfull chap there (who had seen my account had been changed to 10mb.. but they hadnt sent my modem the configuration file).. My modem was rebooting and up to 10mb before I had replaced the handset!!
So.. If CS had sent me the config file the first time, I would have done it in one call
