I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you there - it's just that, IMO, his age is now contributing to a number of injuries that are keeping him out of the team more often than he plays. That's not a criticism of Keane - it would be difficult for most players of his age to stand up to the pressures of the Premiership.

But, again IMO, as the Club Captain, he does still have a responsibility (to a certain degree) to 'toe the party line'. Just because thousands of supporters may feel exactly the same way as him, he shouldn't just slag off half of the team in a TV programme. Unfortunately, Roy Keane is / was a fantastic football player, and I believe it is unrealistic for him to think that efery player will match his (admittedly high) standards.
