Sorry, went to bed early last night as I'd been up since 5.45 because of work.
Sounds like you are doing well finding your drivers, you might want to install your graphics card/ chipset drivers again. Do you know what model/ make of computer it is or what graphics chipset you are running?
If not, try installing and running
this and it will help identify the components.
