This has a familiar ring to it, and I suspect that the culprit is Sorbs. My theory is that a relay used to get to you in Bournemouth is on the Sorbs database, and it's NTL policy to silently discard
all emails originating from, or routed through, a host registered with Sorbs.
We've had all email from users lycos.co.uk and beeb.net discarded. In one case it turned out to be an intervening demon.co.uk relay that was on the database.
