Your modem will support the 10Mbit connection fine. As for phoning up and getting it, well thats a little hit and miss at the moment. You can always try but it depends who u speak too.

You might see a
slight increase in browsing speeds. I noticed it but there isn't a huge huge differance. If your browsing things with huge pictures then yes you should see an increase.
