Try a manufacturer settings restore on the router - clear out anything you might have loaded specific to the STB. Also ensure the modem has been rebooted having changed between the PC and router (only one must connect direct to the modem. I don't think it's an issue as your PC can connect, but check the ehternet cable is the right type i.e. straight through not crossover.
