So again I phoned CS's and was then told that my STB (silver samsung) was going to have to be changed. Do'h. Not quite sure what to say at this point, I asked to have the SACM installed and could I be put through to someone who could organise this for me. The guy downright refused to do this for me. Blood boiling, but before I lost my rag I hung up. Now, i've spoken to CS's again, again I pretty much got told what has been said by everyone here so i got asked to be put through to Retentions. Some geezer who was very appologetic basically told me that the samsung deffinitely didn't need changing and had no idea why I was told otherwise.

Can anyone esle in the DA14 postcode area tell me if they've been upgraded yet??

considering the check your email trick as well now...
it could have been worst - you could have asked to speak to 'retentions' and been told no such department exists - like I did once. you're a paying customer - if there's no tech reason why you can not have 10meg and you ask for it then I'd be considering downgrading to 1meg.
