As I've repeatedly said for the last day - this whole 'huge upgrade for free' argument doesn't cut it. As things stand today NTL are not competitive - they HAVE to up their speeds. If they didn't have to they wouldn't do it. They are not doing anyone a favour and it's wrong to imply that this is the case.
I agree its a big step for them - and I agree it can't be rushed - but their communication once again is appalling. They should have learned by now that it's vital they give front line staff the correct information and that hasn't happened.
You can hardly blame people for getting frustrated by this.
