Re: outside house cable move

There is a well worn story of a gentleman in Glasgow who moved house in the same street and moved his own cable. The house he moved to had cable which was unplugged. So he unpatched his from the street cabinet and patched his new connection and moved his box. The first that the ntl engineer knew about it was when he notified change of address and they sussed that he was still getting channels.

Now maybe someone from Glasgow can tell us if this is true or not.....
