Yes, the scart is composite or RGB, both can be sent down a standard SCART lead. The current STB does not have any component connections, but then there is no point as the box cannot decode anything that would look better than a standard RGB signal.

Are you getting your composite (the yellow part of the red/white/yellow leads) and component (needed for HDTV etc) mixed up?
