Erm how about telling us what type of router it is
As Mick says to eliminate it from the equation you have to remove the router from the setup and check to see if anything changes (please make sure a firewall is running first though
)
If nothing changes with the connection with the router gone then it will point to something other than the router. (cables, card, STB/ SACM, windows settings etc)
