Yup as Rob said Your ADSL router will not work, Stick it on ebay and visit ebuyer,dabs etc for a cable router. This will have a ethernet WAN port, and normally 4 ethernet LAN ports. Wireless is also a good option and If you can afford it (they are normally ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£20 more than wired) they provide a easy way to get laptops connected.
