I'm in Leicester - LE6 postcode, and for weeks (since around the start of july i think) my response time has become awful. I used to be around a nice 80-90 on BF2 (I have a 2mb conn. btw) but now the lowest average is about 150 - 200 and every few minutes it will stop responding for a few seconds with huge lag spikes (possibly packet loss, I'm not sure?).

I'm on a wireless router, but have been for ages and that hasn't effected my connection. It's not being hacked by anyone :p I just have high latency recently. Can still download at a decent speed though

So is this a problem with NTL in Leicester? And is it giong to be sorted?

To be honest, I'd much rather have a slower download speed and faster response time, since most of what I do is gaming / internet / odd small download.
