Unbelieveable !!!!

Ok, so when ntl sent out the warning letters (the first time) about the caps i downgraded my service the same day to 2MB and have been receiving 2MB speed ever since, when my last bill came in ntl had billed me for £37.99 which is the price for a 3MB connection. So i rang CS up and they said that the billing section of my account had not been updated with the new speed, it was their mistake, they told me to pay the £37.99 and i would get next month free.

So i paid the bill today, then rang CS to try to confirm that i would get next month free, the guy who i spoke to was adamant that i was on a 3MB connection (still) despite me downgrading and having that confirmed by CS last time i rang. so after 5-10 minutes arguing with the guy who obviously knew nothing about broadband said that there was nothing on my account about getting next month free because of an ntl admin error.

i did manage to get him to put a £26 credit on my account for next month and got him to confirm that my service had been downgraded to 2MB, the thing is after the last time i don't really trust what they say.

can anybody here confirm for me a few details, by pm if needed that my broadband speed according to the billing dep is 2MB and that i have been credited £26 as the CS rep told, thanks.
