LOL. Good old ntl, always having their finger on the ball! There are still loads of people who are using way more than 156GB a month, and haven't even had their FIRST letter yet.
I reckon it comes down to areas and how much you affect the local UBR, one guy used 56GB and it still affected other peoples useage, whereas you lowering yours by just 30GB to 122GB has been enough to lighten the load in your area, others who use 300GB+ per month, who don't affect their area, didn't even get contacted in the first place.
I bet telewest are looking forward to the merger.
