PG has designed a kettle that responds to text messages.

All well and good in theory, except for a couple of points:

1) You have to go in the kitchen *anyway* to make the tea. Why is pushing several keys, then send, easier than pushing a button (bearing in mind you would be in the kitchen anyway)?

2) The kettle won't text you when it's boiled.

3) In most houses, it's relatively quick to walk to the kitchen, and may actually be quicker than a text message.

Pointless. Funny though.

It's because they just wanted to see if it could be done.Common sense has little to do with it.Never does with some techno nerds.
