just seen the price - cheapest was £622, that seems an awful lot of money.
I havn't any experience of this particular model, but other 'virtual surround' systems I have listened to, have a quite limited 'sweet spot' where the effect is at its best. Although to be fair, that was simulating surround from a stereo signal to 6 speakers, rather than a true 5.1 or DTS signal going to 3 speakers, as with this.
Best I can advise is to try & get to hear it, before you decide
