I am having a few problems setting up a second computer in the house through a router.
It is an HP, the set up works perfectly until it trys gets to the DNS section (domain name services). It states that my firewall is set to the wrong configuration. I have closed my firewall down and tried to re-start the installation but it still doesnt work.
Please could you give me a new tips with all this it would be great.
many thanks

hi floydy
lol - I knew enough to follow the installation wizard, luckily enough it worked fine, then after that it was just a case of turning off the cable modem, router & PC , then reboot the modem, wait for it to settle, reboot the router - similarly let it settle, then boot the PC - that is how it
should work.
- I'm not sure why DNS would be a problem, though - or how to fix it, unfortunately
