Netork quickie (I hope)

Evening all!

Quick (and probably stupid) question here!

My flatmates and I are sharing a telewest connection through a linksys BEFSR41 router and a Netgear WG602 wireless access point.

Now, aside from some other issues that I may come back to you on if I can't get them sorted, all works fine when the machines are picking up an IP address via DHCP. However, I want my machine to have a manually assigned IP, but when I set this up, although the machine connects to the access point fine, I can't actually access the web.

Am I not doing something blindingly obvious here?

Router address 192.168.1.1
My TCP/IP settings

IP 192.168.1.105
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.1.1

Any ideas?
