A report to the apropriate authorities is completely useless when said authorities pre inform the residency of allegations and impending visit. My wife was there for less than a month. most staff did not last much longer than 3 months here, my wife at the time had never worked in the field before, but documentation was available on requirements that legally had to be met, this was researched and several offences both of continiual and individual nature was reported. The place did not even have a cleaner, the care staff all of which was in their teens except one (who was the night shift) was expected to do the entire cleaning aswell as all the care duties. This was 3-4 staff depending on wether they had found anyone to replace the last staff that left, plus an unqualified night shift person, for about 12 residents in two houses (the owners did reside in the other house), the value of which I would estimate even at that time to be worth a good million, as a profitablke business maybe more. with an income between the 2 houses of around £600,00 0+ PA they could easily have afforded to run it properly. This is what you call living the life of reily at the expense of others.
