Hi, I am so sorry to not search through threads for an answer I just do not have much time.

I just moved into a house where one of my housemates has a Telewest cable connection. His PC is plugged into the telewest box and he has a "SURFboardÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ Â® SB5100 External Cable Modem". The modem doesnt have any spare slots for anything. I suppose a router would 'plugged in on the way' to one of the slots already used.

I want to be able to pick up the internet connection wirelessly, running cables through the house isnt an option.

I was told that I should do this using a router and a card but I have to admit I dont really understand the technical side too much. I think I have also seen some sort of router/USB option. This sounds more like the thing I would be able to do.

What I really need is for somebody to tell me the components to buy (because you would already know which are compatable) and maybe a step by step as to how to configure them.

I just need want to spread the connection to my 1 PC, no more.
My PC is a new Dell Dimension.
