Hi,
I have searched the forums for any advice on this and just want to check whether the following would allow me to have two computers connected to the internet and share files and printers

An ntl:home 250 Cable Modem
2 PC's, one running Windows ME, the other running 98SE/ME/XP (Don't know yet as I am planning on getting a 2nd one from a computer fair.
A router such as the ones below.

An ethernet cable (or two)
Internet Explorer on both computers.

On my Windows ME computer (which I have am not getting) I do not have ICS installed. When going to 'Add/Remove Programs' and 'Windows Setup' and then checking the tick box to install it I get an error about not having a network device installed, however I am connected to the internet via Ethernet (SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter) on my ntl 250 Cable Modem.

So, Do I need ICS installed?
If so, how can I stop the error appearing
Is the equipment listed above enough to have 2 PC's on the net sharing files and printers?
