I was in dicussion with a friend and he brought up the fact that he is currently only paying ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£17.99 for the 2Mbit cable internet, As it turns out he was going to disconnect but they offered him a discount!

Its pretty offensive that Ntl are giving discounts like this while loyal customers get stuck with the "normal" ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£24 price.

I know its common practice among many large business and in my opinion it should be illegal, why should a different rule apply to different customers.

Is it worth ringing up and threataning to disconnect in order to get this discount?
