I am not sure if easynews is linked to the cogent issue my trace to members.easynews.com goes over level3 but its possible their bulk traffic stuff is routed over cogent since its cheaper.

If its directly linked to the proxies which it may well be then easynews has a long fight on their hands as that is something ntl are very stubborn on.
