They could make it smaller. They could blow the hdd out totally and just use 2 gig sd cards instead(I know there expensive but not for long) Solid state memory instead of a disk would mean longer battery life and no spinning lumps of metal
Theres cheap sd card mp3 players out there argos has one for the princely sum of £20
