There are several websites I'd define as useful - 'useful' meaning 'I need help to fix this Windows bug/find this driver/destroy this damn scumware'.

http://www.annoyances.org - there are some very helpful people who can and do give advice on a variety of subjects.

http://forum.aumha.org/ - a forum I found invaluable when my PC caught a trojan which proved invulnerable to Ad-Aware, Spybot and HijackThis. I couldn't destroy it using McAfee, because the damn thing somehow disabled it.
The forum also contains useful links on the Quick Fix page.

http://forums.net-integration.net/ - one post on this forum mentioned something called BlackLight, which sounded promising. A quick Google revealed:

http://f-secure.com/blacklight/try.shtml - the site from which I downloaded the software I used to root out and kill the scumware...after more than two days of effort, I had the thing dealt with in ten minutes. Go figure.
BlackLight is in beta, and is free until October.

Doubtless my fellow posters can come up with more.
