The Mods on this site work dam hard to make it a fantastic resource and help site for Cable customers. Seems a bit rich to have a dig at them considering the short time you have been here and the little you have experienced and contributed so far to this site

Cos, we're not having a go, just that you seem to be assuming that cable forum mods have nothing to do but sit around waiting for you personally to join and email them your query, so that they can provide an instant solution.
CF is
not NTL. No-one has a right to demand instant free technical support here. Those members who work for NTL and answer questions here do so because they're nice people who want to help out. They do so out of choice.
So they can just as easily choose not to help someone who doesn't treat them with courtesy.
