For the record I understand this firmware update was for security reasons, and if SNMP has been restricted then it must have a use that ntl do not approve of.

Ok it was for security reasons I have been asking for years now for some online way to monitor what you are downloading and I purchased PRTG as it worked with my modem.

Lets hope NTL allow customers access to monitor their internet usage now supplied by them and as upto date as PRTG was for me.
