You should be able to although I doubt you'll have free reign on what phone to choose. You'll probably get a choice from the list of phones that were available when you received your Samsung. I'm with O2 and I had a SE K700i which had a software problem, so they sent me a V3 as a replacement free of charge, same number and no extension of contract
