Probably because his father thinks that as he
paid for a private education, he can call the shots and over-ride the school's decision. Of all the schools I deal with, it tends to be the parents at the private schools that will stand and argue with me when they don't like the fact that their little darlings have not made the grade!
And of course I don't back down.
