Just call ntl faults and tell them your remote has gone missing or if it has broken they will then send you a new remote (i got mine the next day) then simply return the broken one in the postage paid envelope provided. Or another option is to just request a new remote, and a charge of £15.00 inc vat will be applied to your account.
I got a new Langley remote with the newer keypad layout and tv functions control
very pleased and didn't cost me a penny
