Man Utd and Toon ask about Owen

It's official: Real Madrid confirm that Man United have made calls asking about Michael Owen, though unfortunately for him, it's Newcastle who have showed the most "concrete interest". Owen himself says that's "mentally" prepared to stay at Real.

Kleberson makes Besiktas move

Manchester United misfit Kleberson has completed a £2.5mil lion move to Besiktas after passing a medical with the Turkish club.

The Brazilian World Cup winner was raised shoulder-high by supporters on his arrival in Istanbul on Sunday and quickly agreed personal terms to end his Old Trafford nightmare.
