No, the issue is that you are forced to buy one item because you actually want another completely different item that the vendor is selling.
Other industries are legally prevented from doing this - you don't have to buy insurance from your mortgage provider, nor rely on printer cartridges from your printer manufacturer, etc... Personally I'd like to see the Fair Trade Commission investigate this. Just because NTL refuse to unbundle them does
not make it irrelevant.
