I tried Halo, but found that it got monotonous for large chunks of the game. Some bits were very good, but about half the game just felt samey.

I tried multiplayer too, but wasn't impressed either.

It felt a bit unrealistic to me. I guess I prefer more realistic FPS games, or rather ones based more on the real world - Halo was too sci-fi for me.

I guess different people have different tastes...
