Prob should have clarified my equipment setup in the first post.
Basically when ntl was installed we had a set-top box installed downstairs and the ntl phone and sB4100 SACM were installed upstairs where the pc is.
Naturally id be much happier only paying the £24.99 a month for the 2mb which from the responses so far there seems no reason why i would be unable to do this
