I have witnessed at first hand how even very young children can pick up and act out what they see on a TV screen. Admittedly in my son's case it tends to be Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men running around their garden, but nevertheless ...

I know there is an age restriction on GTA but even so, are older brothers always careful who's around when they play it? You can't expect an 18 year old to have the same level of awareness of the impressionability of a very young child that you would expect from a parent. Good grief, you're daft if you expect responsible behaviour from parents, sometimes ...

When Hillary Clinton says that video games like these make the challenge of parenting harder, she is absolutely, unquestionably correct. Parents who care about what their children see already have to be very vigilant.
