I don't think I explained the situation in enough detail in the first post. I understand about private and public addresses. The ADSL modem is acting as a router. It picks up the public address and has a LAN address of 192.168.0.1. The FVS318 'WAN' address is 192.168.0.2 and it's LAN is 192.168.1.1 (/24). I'm wondering if the VPN problem is due to the fact that the tunnel end-points (the public addresses) are not the same as the FVS318 WAN addresses.
