Put it this way - I never left my old mobo on 24/7, and with this one I only leave it on when I'm sitting next to it.
With so much power going into the board I like to keep a close eye on things.
TBH it's probably a 1 in a million chance that something would catch fire but these things always happen when you least expect it.
