The second word was Off!
It was funny really, as no one currently working for ntl and capable of doing the job would take the promotion. They all knew it would be promotion into a position on a last in first out basis, and they are all expecting further cuts in the department.
Poor morale at the level it is with most ntl employees in ntl is impossible to put right
