From what I've read the dipswitch determines the speed of the CPU and the motherboard supports a max of 1.4 which he has so regardless of what it is set to it should still post but might be running at a slower speed.

Hopefully, I have placed some doubt in your mind to start you worrying about the safety of your 50p
