Unfortunately, in this case (given the location of the pain) without being able to examine your foot it's going to have to be filed under 'continuing mystery'. You
may have hit it on something, you
may have irritated it with footwear, you may even have misaligned a joint in your foot--which can give pain and an inability to walk properly. Without examining it we will never know. Sorry m8
