No, it was a rolling contract.

But I have agreed to it and decided to get the Cable TV and Telephone now (12 month contract) but at least I can cancel the broadband at anytime.

Its amazing once NTL speak to you and negiotate NTL deals are very very competitive, i.e. Sky TV ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£19.50 plus BT line plus broadband for a similar price.
